Angel Odyssey
Angel Odyssey is a fantasy novel about a boy who finds an Oskmey, an angel of the long-dead Sky Father, and his promise to return her to her home. The Oskmey, Jael, is dying but Jacob's offer of aid gives her a second chance at life. By linking their souls using Oskmey spirit magic, she is able to heal herself, but not restore her full strength or her wings.
But an Oskmey that cannot fly is a prize that others will seek for reasons mystical and base.
Now Jacob must keep his promise much earlier than either of them intended and return Jael to the Great Eyrie, home of the Dragon Riders. If they don't the bond he shares with Jael will kill both of them.
Along the way, Jacob will pass from boyhood into manhood and Jael will learn part of what it means to be human. Love, death and deadly peril await them both but in the end, Jacob will become the hero he needs to be to keep his promise. And Jael will keep the one vow she is able to: to see Jacob returned home, safe, though not unchanged.
