I received another rejection letter, this time from Clarkesworld. Feels like a form letter email but, eh. One more for the pile. I’ve had a few rejections lately, tonight, I’m going to spend some time resubmitting stuff to other markets. I want to keep as many of these manuscripts out as I can. I’ve fallen a bit behind on my resolution to submit one short story a week.
Another thing I’ve fallen behind on is editing Angel Odyssey. My read-aloud pass did not advance much on Friday and over the weekend. My attempts to read the novel aloud to the wife failed, so I’ll go back to my library where I can perform to an audience of imaginary people, books and Herb Ritts portraits of supermodels.
I’m also starting a new IM campaign, shuttering the old one. This one will be more of an urban fantasy with a Fae left with human parents instead of the traditional changeling. We’ll see how it plays, it’s always exciting starting a new RPG campaign, creating and exploring worlds or characters.
So, tonight, I will be sequestering myself and getting stuff done.
